THE END Performs On MTV Canada

June 8, 2007

THE END performed live as featured guests on MTV Canada's "MTV Live" yesterday, June 7. The band performed three songs from its brand new album "Elementary" and talked briefly about the record.

Canadian residents can access the band's live performance and interview footage at www.MTV.ca under "MTV Live" performances.

THE END vocalist Aaron Wolff comments on the experience: "It took 32 hours of driving from Winnipeg to Toronto. Along the way we fell victim to border harassment both in the U.S. and in Canada, had two blown tires, about 400 cups of coffee and 60 cans of red bull, but we made it to MTV exactly at 11:30 a.m. for our load in. It was a crazy day for us; we had load in and sound check at MTV studios from 11:30 'till 2 then load in at the Opera House for our night show at 3. We loaded in then ran back over to MTV to get ready for our TV performance and interview at 6:00, which was a great experience. We finished up at MTV then loaded our stuff into our trailer and booked it back to the Opera House for our set at 8:30 p.m. Somehow we managed to pull it all off.

"A HUGE thanks goes out to all of you that came to both of our shows. We had an incredible time so thanks for making the effort to support us.”

THE END wrapped up a cross-Canadian tour with BLEEDING THROUGH and CANCER BATS at the Opera House show. As for what's next for the band, Wolff says, "We now have a week and a bit off then will be back out all over Canada, with some great bands: THREAT SIGNAL, FROM AUTUMN TO ASHES, I HATE SALLY, SICK CITY and IT DIES TODAY. And then hit the U.S. with BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME, THE RED CHORD, and CEPHALIC CARNAGE. So keep you eyes peeled we may be rolling through your town soon."
